Sometimes You're the Pug. Sometimes You're the Plug.

Going on walks gives me ideas for finger puppets. So, seeing the shapes of fire hydrants (or fire plugs), I thought... "Hmmm... a nice little character for my dog puppets to interact with..." Gives some Sturm to their Drang, if you know what I mean.

I went with 'classic' fire hydrant colors, and not the colors of the hydrants here in town. Here, they're orange, and have a piece of rebar sticking up from them, holding a reflective circle. They look like little kids dressed for winter, wearing backpacks and holding balloons.

Fireplug

I've decided that this fire plug (who has some angora sweater ribbing ) is a sneaky sort of guy, always running away from the Pugs and frustrating them to no end. A friend wants me to make videos and put them on YouTube. Sounds like a plan...

LOL They're delightful!

Oh yeah, you should definitely do the videos! Great little puppets!

Shirley: My fingers are very excited about the prospect of being filmed EVEN MORE than they currently are...
Dave: You have been unanimously elected Director of Marketing of MEG Enterprises, LLC.
Kristin: Would that be a "LOO QUEUE"??? Bwah ha ha ha...

what a sense of humor you've got!! i love how they are "waiting in line" for their turn at the "loo" :)

The title of your post is great....quick while your making a youtube account open a cafe press and make it a t shirt phrase.

Ahahaha, I love it! Totally excited about the youtube video, btw.
