Since this week's word made me think of "wise guys", here are my mobster finger puppets.
Sal is the one quoting his hero, Al Capone, while Vinny "the Fingers" (in the red shirt) and Fabriczio look on. Sal fancies himself a bit of a motivational speaker, particularly before a heist. Or a caper.
The concept & design of these puppets and their stories are the property of Megan E. Jeffery.

Wellllllllll...
There probably SHOULD be a guy named Fat Tony, cuz: isn't there always?
It would be fun to do some old-style gangstas. From Chicago-way. Fedoras. Etc.

I think the Mob guys are turning into my favorite finger puppets...any expansion of the "crew" planned?

Kate: There IS another way to look at it. But that would involve hanging upside down & that makes my head hurt. So in the meantime, here's THIS way of looking at it.
Connie Martin: I guess you do dare. I don't disagree. But I ain't doing it over.
Susan: If it's a Big Stick with ammo, then everyone's happy. Guess I was in junior high when I read I Am the Cheese. Excellent book. Met the author a bunch of years ago (he's no longer with us) -- warm, friendly, chatty guy. I love when people's exteriors don't match what's brewing inside of them.
Liz: So many toys @ the flea market. Am really into weapons right now. Interesting how what's going on in the world filters into one's collections. And into one's artwork. Stroking my beard as I consider all of this in a overly-thoughtful way.
Amber: You're welcome. Many happy returns.
Digital Scott: Glad it madeja laugh! I would have preferred the soda spray, but until that time: laughter will just have to do. :-D

That was so funny I laughed out loud! Good thing I wasn't drinking soda at the time. Awesome work.

Megan- you are too funny! I like the way you find ways to use mini machine guns, and stuff like that!

Love the illustration combined with the advice. I guess a gun beats a big stick any day of the week. I hope you weren't too young when you read I am the Cheese, that could seriously mess someone up.

These are very cool and I'm glad I've seen them. Dare I suggest putting them against a more contrasting background, so we can see them even better?
