As it happens, all of my purchases today are miniatures. Maybe not too surprising, since I've been thinking in this scale a lot over the past week. So psyched about the telephone poles! Anytime I find street stuff (signs, fire hydrants, traffic cones, etc.) is a cause for celebration, as they help create a more realistic 'look' for a scene. Do you even KNOW what I can do with these? I can string them together and have little birdies sitting on the wires... I can have people talking on the telephone... I can have a telephone company service guy or a squirrel climbing up them, or a telephone company service guy who IS a squirrel climbing up them... OR... you get the picture.
The skull was attached to a wagon wheel of sorts with a stupid "Wild West" banner -- yeah, that got thrown away. It'll be useful in my cowboy storylines, as will the horseshoes. The Arc de Triomphe will come in handy with my French-themed puppets, and the boat can be used in nautical/seashore storylines, or as a toy in a kid puppet's room.
