Journaling for January 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th!
Monday, Jan. 25th: The Listers Gotta List prompt of Build a Mini Vision Board lured my Inner Middle Schooler out in the open to bring on the bright, the shiny, and the omnipresent hashtag. I'd just done Vision Board posters with the middle schoolers I teach at the end of last year, so my mind was already In the GROOVE. This background paper is weird, plastic-y, iridescent and almost impossible to write on and wouldn't hold my glue stick so I had to bring out the BIG GUNS with the Ultimate glue. I could have (and maybe SHOULD have) loaded up this page with more words, but I know when I've met my match and I conceded the game to the weird, plastic-y, iridescent paper.
Tuesday, Jan. 26th: What you see before you is Megan trying to make the levels of ephemera and paper-stuffs go DOWN. I have scrapbooking supplies that span not years, but now a decade +. That's scary, especially considering that i HAVE NEVER MADE A SCRAPBOOK.
Wednesday, Jan. 27th: This is KISMET -- Earlier in the day I'd gone through the top strata of junk mail on my desk, snippin' and a-clippin', and that session yielded a couple of toilet bowls that went in my Small Ephemera bin. Then I take a look at the website that shows the daily "holidays" and lo & behold, it's Thomas Crapper Day! Happily, I still had some cute poop stickers in inventory to continue the theme.
Thursday, Jan. 28th: I was tired after teaching this day, so I filled the pages quickly with BIG DARK letters! :-)
Thanks for stopping by -- the next journaling post will wrap up January!
