These cozies are now available in my ETSY shop!

Both the heads and muzzles of these cats were made from felted cashmere sweaters. As a result: they are SO soft. Nice to work with; a pleasure to handle. Your soft-boiled eggs will appreciate luxuriating in this comfort, no doubt.

A Banner Day!

Made a new banner for my ETSY shop -- couched cushion design in the background with some egg cozy guys greeting folks when they arrive. I like that the orange in the design works well with ETSY'S logo. Did I plan that? Maybe. MEG Illustrations on ETSY

There are 9 (count 'em, 9) jingle bells on each collar -- they wrap around in back. (What can be said about a person who has 3 sizes of jingle bells in her home?) (ANYthing good?) 

     

One of the things I like about real cats is their funky whiskers, so I always pay homage to that when I make them, be it in illustration format or in fiber format. Another thing I like about cats, their purring, is harder to capture artistically. ANYWAY: there are more details about these guys on ETSY, so please stop by -- thanks! :-)

2 Sets of Big Cat Egg Cozies Available on ETSY!

4 Big Cats in each set -- 2 Tigers, 2 Leopards -- here in my ETSY shop !

 

These were made from an orange sweater and a gold sweater. I have made so many things from that orange sweater -- 2 pillow tops, gloves, and now 4 egg cozies. It's probably gotten more play in its afterlife than it did as a humanoid covering!

I designed and handcrafted these, and they feature hand-stitching and needle felting. Look closely at the cats' muzzles to see where beads act as whisker holes!

Since these are made from RECYCLED sweaters, I guess you could call them GREEN EGG cozies... ("Customer must supply own ham.") I designed and handcrafted these, and they feature hand-stitching and needle felting. Hope you like them!

3 Tea Cozies For Sale on Etsy!

These cozies, made from recycled, felted wool sweaters, were designed and entirely handcrafted by MOI. They feature hand-stitching, needle felting, and, in the case of the fez tassels: couching. I get a few yucks making these fezzes from felt, because "real" fezzes are made of felt, too!

  

Blue Kitty Head Tea Cozy has REAL jingle bells on her collar, so you can hear if she's sneaking up on your cup! She also features hand-stitching and needle felting. I like her blue-y/purple-y eyes.

Orange & Purple Needle Felted Sweater Pillows -- on ETSY

Below are two pillows I've made from felted sweaters, now available for purchase in my ETSY shop. Listed 5 other items besides, so please come take a look!

Orange pillow (doesn't it look cool with the 'Trouble' pillow?) has been needle felted with a variegated wool yarn; yellow side balls are wet felted.

Purple sweater background, needle felted into with both wool yarn & wool roving -- did a little weaving action in there. I like the effect.

Close-up of the wet felted side balls -- the larger size have been made from the same variegated roving used in the pillow. Love how each one came out differently -- those colors are so yummy!
